The National Museum of the Philippines (Pambansang Museo ng Pilipinas) is a government institution in the Philippines and serves as an educational, scientific and cultural institution in preserving the various permanent national collections featuring the ethnographic, anthropological, archaeological and visual artistry of the Philippines. Since 1998, the National Museum has been the regulatory and enforcement agency of the National Government in the restoring and safeguarding of important cultural properties, sites and reservations throughout the Philippines.
The National Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Admission to the National Museum is now permanently free of charge for all visitors, Filipino or foreign, to its museums nationwide.

From Pasig ride a jeep/FX with the route to Quiapo
Then go down at Quiapo Church
From Quiapo Church ride a jeep/bus going to Rizal Park or Luneta Park
From Rizal Park you can ride a 'kalesa' or you can just walk to go to National Museum.
Fare is around Php 50.00
Travel time is around 60-80 minutes.
